As informs Radio Sputnik, candidate of medical sciences, nutritionist Elena Solomatina, in an interview with reporters, gave advice on how citizens can quickly and correctly lose those extra pounds gained during the New Year holidays.
“Before the New Year, we … were on diets to fit into a festive dress or suit … Then our appearance is no longer so important to us, so we overeat,” the specialist noted.
According to her, the optimal process for returning to oneself the desired forms is a gradual, smooth weight loss of 500 grams per week.
“It is wise to get rid of the New Year’s baggage slowly, reducing the number of calories consumed … I advise you to cut your calorie intake by 250-500 kilocalories per day,” Solomatina advised.
