Without harm to health, you can eat 1-2 eggs at one meal, Sofya Eliashevich, a nutritionist and therapist at the National Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Health, said on the eve of Easter.
According to her, eggs contain a lot of protein with amino acids, as well as a large amount of fat-soluble vitamins and cholesterol. In this regard, it is better not to get carried away with such a product, and it is worth eating no more than two eggs at a time.
As for Easter cake, the nutritionist said that they also have protein with a high biological value, fats and simple carbohydrates. According to her, the optimal portion for one meal is 50-100 grams.
