As reported by the administration of Petrozavodsk, a student of the Olympic reserve sports school No. 3 set a new Karelia record in freestyle swimming.
At the Republic Cup, which took place in Kondopoga, Valery Kropotin swam 50 meters in 23.09 seconds.
A total of 355 swimmers from the largest cities in the region took part in the competition. The winners were determined by the sum of points in each discipline.
