A new health route has appeared in the Penza region

It’s real spring in the Penza region. Every day the air temperature is getting higher, I want to spend more time on the street, walk along the alleys and parks and enjoy the awakening of nature.
Previously, only regional centers could boast of their pedestrian zones, and Penza residents enjoyed walking along the Olympic alley or the health path in the city of Sputnik, but now districts can also boast of such recreation areas.
This trend allows us to be proud of the region, because the attention and development of infrastructure goes on at all levels.
Among the places where you can walk on a warm, serene evening or go in for sports in the Penza region, there has been a replenishment. A health route was created in Kolyshley, it was laid in such a way that the participants could see all the main sights of the village. It turns out, in our opinion, even more interesting than the usual city alley.
The length of the health route is about 1200 m, it passes by the Central Stadium, the Alley of Military Glory, the Alley of Heroes, the Eternal Flame, the Olymp sports complex and the regional House of Culture.
Along the route there are navigation, lighting, sports fields, resting places, points for drinking and medical care, as well as toilets and information boards.
The route is opened within the framework of the project “Health route for every municipality”, it has responsible healthy lifestyle instructors who monitor the route and form teams of walking enthusiasts.
The project was conceived to improve the health of the participants. It was developed on the basis of WHO recommendations, the essence of which is that a person takes from 6 to 10 thousand steps a day to maintain normal physical activity.
Along the route in Kolyshley, participants will walk more than 10,000 steps and spend a little more than two hours.
The organizers of the event note that physical activity reduces:
• Risk of cardiovascular disease
• diabetes
• diseases of the gastrointestinal tract
• musculoskeletal system.
You can go along the route on your own, as there will be all the necessary navigation, as well as participate in an organized event with instructors.
