What is characteristic is that the beginning of the sports season will not stop the reconstruction of “Harvest” – during the time free from football battles, the builders will continue to transform the stadium into an athletics arena – over the summer, grounds for javelin, hammer and discus throwing will appear at “Urozhay”, and for spectators will be built new stand with 100 seats.
As a result, by the next sports season, as the director of the Olympic Reserve Sports School Oleg Chentsov expects, Kostroma will have the first track and field stadium where both regional and all-Russian competitions can be held.
