A new football field was laid at the Zvezda stadium in Perm

At the Perm stadium “Zvezda”, where the football club “Amkar” and the women’s football club “Zvezda-2005” train and play, work on replacing the field has been completed.
The contractor dismantled the old artificial turf, arranged and leveled the base, laid a new artificial turf with an area of 8085 sq. meters, told in the regional Ministry of Sports. The lawn was marked with quartz sand and rubber granulate.
The cost of the work amounted to 17.5 million rubles, funds for them were allocated from the budget of the Kama region.
Synthetic surface CCGrass Pride 60 fully complies with all the requirements for matches of the 2nd and 1st leagues, as well as games of the women’s football Superleague, said Mikhail Aminov, director of the Sports Training Center of the Perm Territory. Such canvas was chosen in agreement with the Russian Football Union. Now laboratory tests will be carried out, according to the results of which a test certificate of the RFU will be issued, confirming the compliance of the artificial turf of the football field with the standard. This procedure will take about two weeks.
The removed football canvas does not meet the requirements of professional leagues, but is suitable for small stadiums where amateurs play, the Ministry of Sports explains, and can serve at several sites. Currently, municipalities and facilities are being identified where field replacement is required.
