A new basketball tournament League of Friendship 3×3 takes place in Desnogorsk

In Desnogorsk, on the floor of the sports and recreation center “Desna”, an international 3×3 basketball tournament “Friendship League” is being held with the participation of 12 teams from Russia and Belarus.
The tournament is held as part of the International 3×3 Basketball Festival dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Rosenergoatom Concern.
Two Belarusian teams and ten Russian teams fought for the victory in the tournament.
Along with the leaders of domestic and Belarusian basketball 3×3, several Rosatom teams take part in the tournament, and most importantly, the hosts of the tournament are the Smolensk NPP team.
The activities of Rosenergoatom in the field of 3×3 basketball development were highly appreciated at the visiting collegiums of the ministries of sports of Russia and Belarus that took place in Smolensk. The role of the Smolensk region in the development of Russian-Belarusian projects was noted. Friendship League is one of such projects, which has all the indications to become traditional and long-term.
