Musical marathon “Fanfare of Victory – to the defenders of the Fatherland!” will be held in Moscow on February 23. As MK was informed by the press service of the Valery Khalilov Spiritual Society Association, the marathon will be held at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill. The program includes performances by more than 20 creative groups from children’s music schools and children’s art schools in Moscow and the Moscow region. In total, over 600 young musicians will take part.

“The music marathon is a new format for our projects with the participation of not only brass bands, but also choral, vocal and choreographic groups,” said Mikhail Bryzgalov, president of the Russian Brass Society.

More than 50 lyrical and patriotic compositions, works by Soviet and Russian composers will be performed by brass bands, choirs, ensembles and soloists. A bright part of the program will be the performance of the combined children’s brass band of the musical marathon, which will unite all the brass musicians at once.
