A modern sports stadium for cadets will appear in Sokol

It was decided to build a new sports facility near the Vologda Cadet School. Belozersky regiment in Sokol. The question of the need for a modern stadium was raised by local residents at the city council under the governor.
Oleg Kuvshinnikov supported the suggestion of the fellows and noted that the cadet school appeared in the city in 2006. Instead of a full-fledged stadium, there was a leveled area with several pieces of equipment on which it was impossible to conduct quality training.
Renovation of the sports facility will be held under the regional program for the development of education. The contractor started work on September 26. Previously, specialists developed design and estimate documentation and received the conclusion of the state expertise.
To date, the old equipment has already been dismantled on the territory and the boundaries of the repair have been determined. It is planned that the platform will become wider. The stadium will be completely ready by next summer. There will be a modern football field with artificial turf, a workout zone and tracks for athletics. In addition, the facility will be equipped with drainage and external sewerage, lighting, fencing and landscaping around.
