By the time the mayor arrived, it remained to mount the fence and connect the lighting of the sites. According to the director of the sports school Vladimir Ulyanov, this territory has not seen such large-scale transformations since its foundation.
– For almost 40 years, the track has fallen into disrepair, and the training process has become very complicated. In 2019, thanks to the mayor of the city, Natalya Kotova, we received a land plot in ownership, made a project, and this year we implemented it. Now we have not only a modern karting track, but also a playground for children’s all-round events, – comments the head of the Youth Sports School for technical sports.
According to him, the karting track was built in 1975 along with the building. The track was a paved area, all turns were lined with wheels.
After the overhaul of the track, it will be possible to increase the coverage of children with additional education in technical programs, improve the quality of the educational process, increase the number of participants, winners and prize-winners of sporting events at various levels. Although even now young athletes have a huge number of prizes in championships and championships of the country. So, Vyacheslav Mil won the Eurasian Cup this year, and the other day the auto all-rounders took third place in the Russian championship.
– Now there will be even more victories, I’m sure. Indeed, today in Russia there are no budget schools with such a route as we have, – notes Vyacheslav Ulyanov.
