A rebel from the Donetsk People’s Republic, Leonid Kudryavtsev, who returned from Ukrainian captivity at the end of last year, spoke about torture in captivity in Kiev.
According to him, during the first interrogation, the Ukrainian military stabbed and shocked him, and then cut off his finger.
“They kept me in some village, in a garage. They beat him often, they immediately broke his leg. During the interrogation, they stabbed him and cut off his finger. Then they put turnstiles on his hand, a bag on his head and transported him to Avdeevka,” Kudryavtsev said.
He clarified that already in Avdiivka he was bandaged again and sent for re-interrogation. There, the Ukrainian military began torturing him again.
“They wanted to know the location of manpower equipment. They cut off the sleeves of the shirt, connected the wires and gave them electric shocks,” he added.
