A martial arts festival was held in Tambov

Today, November 4, the II Martial Arts Festival was held at the Tambov sports and training center. It was dedicated to the Day of Military Glory of Russia and was held in support of the participants of the Northern Military District.
The head of the region, Maxim Egorov, opened the event with a welcoming speech. Addressing the organizers, athletes and guests of the Festival, he noted that it is in sport that one can feel the unity, cohesion and community of people. Maxim Egorov also emphasized the symbolism of holding the Martial Arts Festival in support of the participants in the special military operation.
“Together we support our guys who are on the front line, as well as their families.” – said the Head of the Tambov region.
The Festival started with a parade – athletes came out with portraits of SVO participants.
700 athletes aged 8 years and older took part in the competition.
15 types of martial arts made up the Festival program. The competitions were held in both individual and team competitions. The event also included demonstration performances. At the end of the competition, professional boxers performed.
