Elon Musk’s company Neuralink reported that the first person to receive the implant created as part of the startup began to use its capabilities.
The chip allowed “the power of thought” to move the cursor on the screen, the message says.
It was possible to move the cursor using a neuroimplant before – in 2004, an American with a BrainGate chip was able to do this. The advantages of Neuralink over existing technologies are its wireless and compact interface.
