In Podolsk, a local emergency situation was introduced due to a long lack of heating in houses in the north-eastern part of the Klimovsk microdistrict as a result of a break in the heating main, reported in Telegram head of the city district Grigory Artamonov.
Mr. Artamonov clarified that the state of emergency has been in force since January 5, which will allow the use of additional forces and means to solve the problem. Emergency crews worked throughout the night to resolve the situation, the mayor said.
“Due to the frosts, the system froze and during startup, breaks appeared on the main line and in houses. Specialists do everything in their power to eliminate leaks as quickly as possible. The reserve boiler, which we started yesterday, is operating normally. The repair of the second boiler continues,” wrote the head of Podolsk.
Residents of Klimovsk were left without heat and hot water on the morning of January 4, they reported this on social networks. The administration of Podolsk reported during the day that due to a break in the heating main, the supply of heat and hot water to apartment buildings was suspended. Mr. Artamonov reported on the Telegram channel that the supply of hot water and heat in Klimovsk is planned to be resumed at 21:00 on January 5.
