A 31-year-old newcomer from Podolsk near Moscow discovered a strange animal in his house when he and his wife came to do repairs. In one of the rooms on the first floor, a lamb was quietly wandering around.
As it became known to “MK”, a strange incident in a newly built residential complex occurred on Sunday afternoon. Undertaking to lay the laminate in their apartment on the second floor, the couple suddenly heard a suspicious “m-e-e-e-e.” They examined the stairwell, went downstairs, and behind the glass wall of the room in which the chain store was supposed to open in the summer, on bags with a cement mixture, they saw an artiodactyl animal that seemed to have strayed from the herd.
It is amazing that the workers of the contracting organization that makes repairs there always lock this room with a key. This time, too, the door was locked, and there was not a soul around. The residents decided to call the police and posted an announcement about the find in the house-wide chat. Literally 10 minutes later, by the time law enforcement officers arrived, the lamb was no longer on the spot. Apparently, the owner found out that the guards were on their way, and moved the pet to another shelter.
The management company suggested that the animal belongs to one of the workers who had the keys to this premises. It is possible that he acquired living creatures as a so-called akyk – a gift to the Almighty for a sent down child: in the Muslim tradition, there is such a custom when a family sacrifices a lamb on the seventh day after the birth of a baby. Two animals are usually slaughtered for a boy, and one animal for a girl.
