Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk said that the large Harder family from Germany received temporary asylum in the Kaluga region. According to her, the family members argued their request for asylum by saying that the German police could seize the children. The family has six children, four of whom are minors.

“Senior members of the Harder family were invited to the migration division of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kaluga region. In a solemn ceremony, they were given certificates of temporary asylum on the territory of our country,” said Irina Volk, clarifying that we are talking about Anna Harder and her two eldest children – Simone and Ruth.

Mrs. Volk also spoke about the intention of all family members to obtain Russian citizenship after the German side provides all the necessary documents.
