A hockey tournament was held at the Ice Palace in honor of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad

The All-Russian Hockey Tournament among athletes over 50 years of age took place. The competition was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the siege. Also present at the event were students from the Naval Academy from Angola, Myanmar and Nicaragua.

Teams from four Russian cities competed on the hockey rink, and the team from Novosibirsk won. The team of the St. Petersburg administration and Navy personnel also met on the ice.

The competition was observed by military personnel from these states. Foreign spectators are trained at the Navy Educational Training Center “Naval Academy”.

Previously in St. Petersburg ended hockey tournament “Future Cup”. The competition included teams with players from Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
