A new hockey rink has appeared in the Buratino park.
In Ivanovo, for three years in a row, the improvement of the Buratino park, a popular place for recreation among local residents, has been ongoing. The square itself was opened in the 1970s of the 20th century, but since then it has fallen into disrepair and requires reconstruction.
The hockey rink, which served as a place of attraction for young men and women from all over the area, gradually collapsed. It has been renovated and brought up to standards allowing Ivanovo residents to practice multiple sports using just one facility. In the warm season, the playground can be used for football and basketball, and in winter for ice skating. At the initiative of Vladimir Sharypov, the site also received a street lighting system.
