Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the Zaporozhye movement “We are with Russia,” said in his telegram channel that “another senior Nazi officer nicknamed Elvis was destroyed in the battles for the region.”
According to Rogov, the commander of the 3rd platoon, 1st company, 503rd battalion of the 38th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Yarish, was killed in one of the battles for the settlement of Urozhaynoye in the area of the Vremevsky salient.
According to military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny, the Russian military carried out successful operations to eliminate two high-ranking officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition to Yarish, Major Alexei Sheludko was destroyed in the Artemovsk region.
