A hand-to-hand fighter from Kaluga took gold at the All-Russian competitions



A student of the Tiger martial arts club from Kaluga, Alexander Afonaskin, took gold at the All-Russian hand-to-hand combat competition in memory of the Heroes of Russia - Tula National Guardsmen who died in hot spots. This was announced on Thursday, April 4, at the regional Ministry of Sports.

In addition to Alexander, Ivan Ryzhikov received the special “Evgeniy Reznikov” prize for the will to win.

“We congratulate the guys and their mentor on an excellent result at the All-Russian start,” the department added.

All-Russian competitions took place in Tula. More than 500 athletes from 29 regions of Russia competed for leadership.
