A traditional Greco-Roman wrestling tournament was held in Orel, dedicated to the memory of the Honored Trainer of the RSFSR Yuri Kuzminov. The man received this title for training Alexander Aliyev, a two-time World medalist among adults in classical wrestling.
According to the press service of the city administration, more than 130 athletes from the city of Orel and the Oryol region, Lipetsk, Belgorod and Tula took part in the honorary mentor tournament. Participants competed in three age groups (12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, 16-17 years old) and 38 weight categories.
The winners were awarded cups, medals and certificates, and the winners received medals and certificates from the Department of Education, Sports and Physical Culture of the Oryol city administration.
