A grant of 1 million rubles will be used to develop adaptive taekwondo in the Kaluga region

Children with disabilities and disabilities from the Kaluga region will learn taekwondo. The corresponding social and sports project won a Presidential grant of 1 million rubles. This was announced on Monday, January 15, at the Ministry of Sports of the Kaluga Region.
The head of the department, Olek Serdyukov, noted that the project “Adaptive taekwondo conquers the GTO,” aimed at achieving a new sports goal for a group of special taekwondo athletes, will unite more than 100 people.
“Adaptive taekwondo is one of the most effective sports for children with mental disabilities. Receiving the TRP insignia is an opportunity to feel compliance with generally accepted standards and receive additional motivation to play sports,” the minister wrote on his social networks.
The author of the project, Yana Paduryan, has developed a program for children and adolescents with disabilities and disabilities from 7 to 15 years old. It will include regular training, preparation for passing the GTO standards, participation in the tests of the All-Russian Sports Society “GTO” on Athlete’s Day.
By the way, 12 social projects from the Kaluga region will receive grants worth 36.4 million rubles.
“Thanks to the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, many social initiatives have already been implemented in our region. We help organizations prepare to participate in competitions,” Governor Vladislav Shapsha noted earlier.
