The winter off-season continues in Russian football. Professional teams of different levels still train and play test matches with opponents of different levels. Very soon the training camps and training sessions, which everyone is already tired of, will come to an end. In early March, official matches will be held in all professional divisions of Russia, except for the Second League “B”, where the championship will begin in April. Now the most active time has begun at the training camp, when teams understand that there is little time left to correct mistakes.
On February 17, the next control match was held by FC Rostov, which included a graduate of Ivanovo football on its roster. Goalkeeper Sergei Pesyakov, who received his football education in Ivanovo, was in the starting lineup of FC Rostov for the test match against Astana. Sergei had a weak first part of the season and lost his place in the lineup, but has recently begun to improve. In a meeting against FC Astana, Sergey did not allow the opponent to penetrate him and helped FC Rostov win with a score of 1:0.
Let us remind you that FC Rostov will play the first official match of 2024 on March 1. The yellow-blues will host Krylia Sovetov at their home arena.
