A German MP who criticized support for Kyiv and sanctions will create a party

German Bundestag member Sarah Wagenknecht will create a new political party, RIA Novosti reports citing the publication of the Bild newspaper.
Sarah Wagenknecht is a very popular politician in Germany; she often criticized the German authorities on issues of support for Kyiv and the anti-Russian course. In August, she became the country’s third most popular politician.
Previously, Wagenknecht allowed the creation of a party, but reported that the final decision would be made by the end of the year. She also announced 4 main principles of her new party – economic feasibility, social justice, maximum state-regulated prices and an emphasis on diplomacy in foreign policy.
She also opposed the increase in military spending and called for restoring relations with Russia.
