A friendly match between the football teams of Serbia and Russia will be held in Moscow

General Secretary of the Football Union of Serbia Jovan Surbatović said Sport24that a friendly match between the Serbian and Russian national teams will take place at the Dynamo stadium in Moscow.
“We received permission from UEFA and agreed with the RFU to hold a friendly match between our teams. The game will take place on March 21 in Moscow at the Dynamo stadium,” said Mr. Surbatovich.
About the fact that Russia will hold match with Serbia in March 2024, the President of the Russian Football Union Alexander Dyukov announced on December 20. The Russian national team will play against a European team for the first time since 2021.
In February 2022, FIFA and UEFA suspended Russian football teams and clubs from participating in international competitions indefinitely due to the military conflict in Ukraine. Since then, the Russian team has only played friendly matches.
