A football tournament dedicated to the legends of Spartak began in the Moscow region

The first tournament dedicated to the memory of the legendary Spartak football players began in the Moscow region. It was opened at the stadium in Mytishchi by football player Yuri Gavrilov. 12 teams will compete on the artificial turf of the Dmitry Alenichev Stadium. They will play in a 6×6 formation.
The tournament was organized by the Russian Spartak fan club and the physical education and sports society of the same name. The local administration supported the initiative. The competition was dedicated to three legendary athletes from different football “eras”. These are Igor Netto, Fyodor Cherenkov and Ilya Tsymbalar.
The weather made adjustments to the organizers’ plans. The artificial lawn was covered in snow. But by the start of the match they managed to quickly clear it.
