Flattering news for Kostroma appeared on the website of the Spartak football club – a native of our city, Ksenia Karavaeva, will play for the club’s women’s team as an attacking midfielder.
Previously, the 18-year-old Kostroma resident played for the Ryazan-VDV team and scored nine goals and made one assist over the year. In September 2023, Ksenia was invited to join the Russian national women’s football team, and in October she was able to score the first goal against the Argentina national team.
The head coach of the women’s team of FC Spartak, Vadim Kozlov, calls Ksenia Karavaeva a rising star of Russian women’s football.
