A figure skater from Tver jumped a quadruple salchow at the First Channel Cup

Last weekend, from January 21 to 22, the First Channel Cup was held at the CSKA Arena in Moscow. The participants divided into two teams: “Red Car” with captain Alina Zagitova and “They won’t catch up with us!” with captain Kamila Valieva.
Tverite Alina Gorbacheva performed in the team of Alina Zagitova. In an interview with Channel One, the skater promised that in the free program she would go for an ultra-si element, namely, a quadruple salchow jump. And she kept her word. The girl not only jumped, but also landed this most difficult jump.
Honored figure skating coach Tatyana Tarasova could not restrain her emotions and said: “Salkhov! Quadruple! Better than boys!”
Alina Gorbacheva tried to perform this jump again, but this attempt was not the most successful.
The Tver figure skater looked very confident and impressive on the ice, in no way inferior to the titled athletes who have already proven themselves.
As a result, Alina Zagitova’s Red Machine team won the Channel One Cup, and the spectators of the competition enjoyed watching what was happening on the ice.
