A figure skater from Sakhalin won silver at major competitions in Ussuriysk

More than two hundred athletes from the Primorsky, Khabarovsk, Trans-Baikal Territories and the Sakhalin Region competed at the “Stars of the Far East” figure skating tournament in Ussuriysk, which took place last week. The Sakhalin figure skater won second place, the press service of the Crystal sports school reported.
Participants performed in youth and sports categories, as well as in candidate master of sports programs. Sofia Golubeva from the Crystal sports school in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk defended the third youth category, winning second place.
Last year, Crystal figure skaters brought eight medals of varying denominations from Ussuriysk.
