Teenage bullying is increasingly reminiscent of gang warfare. At school No. 11 in the city of Berdsk, Novosibirsk region, 5th grade students forced a classmate to his knees and forced him to apologize. In the footage of the video, which is now in the possession of the Investigative Committee for the Novosibirsk Region, the child is kneeling and holding his hands in a prayer gesture.

– Please forgive me. “I won’t do this again,” begs the skinny fifth-grader.

Judging by the video, the child is being humiliated for some kind of name-calling on his part. If it happens again, they promise to deal with it using a knife and a stun gun. The children’s speech of the offenders is richly seasoned with obscene words.

Classmates posted the video taken in the school chat. Then it spread throughout the school. The fact of bullying became known to the parents, who made a fuss.

The school administration declines to comment. However, it became known that the cause of the conflict was an incident after a physical education lesson. Students from parallel classes collided at the locker room door. One of the boys allegedly called the other two names. They responded by waiting for him in the schoolyard and taking him to a deserted place, where they forced him to his knees and forced him to apologize.

It is known that abusers grow up in prosperous families. One of the boys is studying vocals and recently returned from a trip to Moscow. There he, along with other guys, performed in the Kremlin Palace. Perhaps this fact gave him a feeling of superiority.

“The psychological climate at the school leaves much to be desired,” said the father of a high school student studying at this school. – Children constantly practice showdowns in the style of the nineties. Some of them are supposedly in authority, while others must obey them. This is a prison game. I think it all comes from home. Parents must explain to their children that real life is not built according to criminal laws.

“I’m scared to imagine that my child will be bullied at school,” comments the head of the public association “Fathers of Berdsk” Sukhrab Svetonosov. – I simply don’t know what to do in this case. I am also afraid of being in a situation where my son is the aggressor. What to do? How to proceed? Parents do not have any instructions for this case. But there should be such a document; parents should be told about this at meetings.

Psychologist Evgenia Razvozhaeva agrees with the parent movement activist. Children’s bullying is getting younger and “maturing,” says the expert.

– Showdowns about who is cooler and who is more authoritative are more typical of adolescence. The most dangerous of them occur at the age of 14-15 years. This is when the hormonal background is actively restructured, and the cognitive functions of the brain cannot keep up with them. Simply put, the consciousness remains childish. But in the fifth grade there are 11-year-old children. For them, aggression “without brakes” is not yet typical. When they swear, threaten with a knife, or force a friend to his knees, they are copying the behavior of adults or criminal video content.

As for the injured party, I would not advise urgently enrolling a child in a martial arts class and preparing him for an adequate response. We know that violence begets violence. The best tactic is to become a shadow for your offenders. Try not to enter into any relationship with them, completely isolate yourself from them. Aggressors will gradually become uninterested in bullying this child. And he, in turn, will definitely find friends.

In a situation where the situation continues to escalate, you need to transfer the child to another school. This helps in almost all cases, says Evgenia Razvozhaeva.

Currently, based on the facts recorded on video, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region has organized a pre-investigation check. The prosecutor’s office also became interested in the case. Investigators have organized a check of compliance with legislation on the prevention of juvenile delinquency.
