The fan filed a lawsuit against FC Rostov. Grigory Chebonyan considers the rules that prohibit spectators from bringing their food into the Rostov Arena stadium illegal.

In 2023, at the beginning of this football season, a man decided to go to football with his son. The father was worried that the child would get hungry and took various foods for him in advance – apples, chocolate, peaches, buns, which the child could snack on during the match. However, at the checkpoint the controllers refused to let Grigory in with food.

The employees explained that such measures were related to safety rules. However, the man has his own opinion on this matter. The fan believes that spectators are thus forced to buy food at the stadium, which costs much more than in stores.

Grigory Chebonyan tried to obtain compensation for moral damage through the Proletarsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don. The man demanded to be reimbursed a symbolic amount – one ruble. However, the court refused the request. Now the Don resident will try to appeal the decision in the Rostov Regional Court.
