A draft of new KIMs for the Unified State Examination in 2023 has been published

The Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements yesterday proposed a draft of new Control-measuring materials for the Basic State Exam in 2023 for the final ninth grades. Today, the same project appeared on the USE KIMs in 2023.
As written in the draft, next year the improvement of examination models in most subjects will be continued in accordance with the new Federal State Educational Standards. So, in the Unified State Examination in the Russian language, tasks No. 3, No. 21 and No. 26 became tasks of an increased level of complexity. Also, importantly, restrictions on the maximum length of an essay have been removed.
In KIMs in mathematics at the basic level, tasks were regrouped into thematic blocks. In the first part of the work, practice-oriented tasks are collected, followed by blocks of tasks in geometry and algebra. In KIMs in profile mathematics, tasks in geometry are also presented first, followed by a block of tasks on elements of combinatorics, statistics and probability theory, and then there are tasks in algebra.
If we talk about the Unified State Exam in physics, chemistry, biology, foreign languages, computer science and ICT, then in some the arrangement of tasks has been changed, in others the tasks have been transferred from tabular form to text, somewhere the level of complexity of tasks has been increased, somewhere it has been increased or decreased their number. The time allotted for the exam in history has been increased from 180 minutes to 210. The examination work includes a task to test knowledge of the facts of the history of the Great Patriotic War and a task to test the ability to compare historical events, processes, phenomena.
The only subject for which there will be no changes in the exam is geography.
