A group of deputies from the New People party, headed by their leader Alexei Nechaev, submitted to the State Duma a bill on a deferment from mobilization for individual entrepreneurs, for the sole participants in limited liability companies and heads of peasant (farm) households. Document published in the electronic database of the lower house
A deferment from mobilization, if the bill is passed, will be available to individual entrepreneurs and the only participants in limited liability companies that employ five or more people within six months before the start of mobilization. In order to receive a deferment, they also must not have arrears in the payment of wages and taxes, the explanatory note to the bill says.
The document notes that the requirement for the absence of debt will not apply to the heads of peasant (farmer) households, “since they directly ensure the food security of the Russian Federation.”
Nechaev, referring to the words of the Minister of Defense, noted that 27,000 entrepreneurs have been mobilized in the country – this is 0.5% of the total number of businessmen in the country.
“For example, there are about 2.5 million officials at all levels in Russia. Only 1,700 of them were mobilized. It’s seven hundredths of a percent. As you can see, the difference is more than six times. Which of them is now more useful for the economy today and tomorrow? Where will the people who return from the NWO work? Jobs are created by entrepreneurs,” said the head of the New People faction.
Partial mobilization took place in Russia from September 21 to October 31, 2022. The Ministry of Defense announced plans to call up 300,000 troops, however, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin, 318,000 people were mobilized, as a large number of volunteers wanted to go to the war zone. After that, the authorities repeatedly stated that the mobilization in Russia was completed.
