A donation marathon will be held in Tula on October 16

On October 16, the Tula region will join the All-Russian marathon in support of the donor movement.
Artyom Aliskerov, who founded the Second Life Foundation and represents bone marrow donation in the Russian Federation, suffered leukemia and 31 courses of chemotherapy, will run a monomarathon of more than 42 kilometers around the city. It will also hold a donor event, an interactive lecture and a press conference.
The marathon will begin at the Tula Blood Transfusion Station and end at the TSPU named after. L.N. Tolstoy, reports the regional Ministry of Health.
The goal of the marathon is to attract young active and healthy people to voluntary blood donation in the country.
