FT: A delegation of American parliamentarians will arrive in Taiwan
The Financial Times, citing its own sources, reported that Mike Gallagher, chairman of the Select Committee on the Communist Party of China in the US House of Representatives, will visit Taiwan on February 21.
“Gallagher will visit Taiwan on February 21st. He will lead a group of seven legislators,” the newspaper noted.
The publication’s sources emphasized that the American delegation will meet with Lai Qingde, who previously won the election as head of the island’s administration.
