On November 30, the Award Ceremony for the winners of the National Sports Award took place at the State Kremlin Palace. The award became the main sporting event within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the state governing body in the field of physical culture and sports.
Great sports veterans, world-class athletes and coaches, figures in the sports communities of the Russian Federation were awarded the 2023 national sports award for their contribution to the development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation.
From Arkhangelsk, the ceremony was attended by the head of the department for physical culture and sports Artem Fomin, the deputy head of the department – Oleg Novoselov, the leading specialist of the department – Dmitry Prokopyev, the director of sports school No. 1 – Alexey Potolov, representatives of the sports school “Cascade” – Tatyana Korshunova and the Honored Master of Sports in jiu jitsu Alexandra Ivanov.
– Participation in such an important event is a valuable experience for our team, an opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of great sport and communicate with great athletes. I consider it a priority for our athletes to win this award, both for the administration and for every resident of the city,” shared Artem Fomin.
