A decade of sports and health was held in the Khabarovsk Territory

As reported in the press service of the regional government, more than 25 thousand residents of the Khabarovsk Territory took part in the Decade of Sports and Health. Sports events were held from January 1 to January 8 in all regions of the region.
For lovers of a healthy lifestyle, competitions, master classes and other entertainment were organized. The Lenin Square in Khabarovsk became the central platform. Participants of fun starts gathered there, and the Santa Claus Cup in “street” curling was played there for the first time.
The Decade of Sports and Health began with the Promise Run. 250 people were able to run a symbolic 2023 meters across the Lenin Stadium on January 1. During the New Year holidays, almost 20 thousand residents and guests of the city visited the sports embankment and the “people’s” skating rink in the regional capital. For everyone, master classes in figure skating and sports locations for children were organized.
Volleyball medals and cups of “Christmas Meetings” were played in the Universal Sports Complex. The Erofey Arena hosted the traditional Christmas bandy tournament.
