In the Shepetovsky district of the Khmelnitsky region in western Ukraine, damage to a critical infrastructure facility occurred. Deputy head of the regional administration Sergei Tyurin reported this on his Facebook page (the owner of the company Meta is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned). He indicated that debris fell and a blast wave occurred on the site, which led to damage to non-residential premises and vehicles.
Details of the incident were not provided.
Earlier at night, there were reports of explosions in the Khmelnitsky region, in connection with which an air raid alert was previously announced.
It is important to note that the company Meta Platforms Inc., which owns Facebook and Instagram, was declared extremist by the decision of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow dated March 21, 2022. Its activities are prohibited in Russia.
