The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case due to the heating situation in Podolsk. This was reported to the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region.
“A criminal case has been opened regarding the restriction of the supply of energy resources to residential buildings and organizations,” the department’s telegram channel says.
It was established that on January 4, due to improper operation of the boiler room, a breakthrough occurred in the heating mains. Because of this, many residential buildings, medical and educational institutions in the Klimovsk microdistrict were left without heating and hot water.
Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov said that the boiler room was occupied by private owners, but they are not in touch now. He asked the Investigative Committee to petition for the transfer of the boiler house to a municipal enterprise.
