The Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow arrested the head of the Uzbek community “Vatandosh” Usman Baratov, reports the department of the Investigative Committee for the capital. The measure of arrest in the form of detention was chosen at the request of the investigation.
The day before, the capital’s headquarters of the department opened a criminal case against Baratov under the article “Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity.”
The reason for the criminal case was Baratov’s posting on the Internet in December 2023, degrading the dignity of SVO participants.
