A court in Moscow arrested a defendant in the case of a deadly excursion in the sewer

Alexander Kim, the head of the Sputnik IT company, was arrested on Wednesday for 2 months by the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow in the case of conducting a deadly excursion in an underground sewer, RIA Novosti reports.
Judge Irina Zorina decided to grant the investigator’s motion to arrest Kim.
According to the investigation, on August 20, a guide led a tour with a group of seven people along the underground collector of the Neglinka River in Moscow. During the tour, a heavy downpour began and the collector flooded. All eight people, including the guide, were killed.
Kim was charged under the article on the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers. According to investigators, the crime was committed by a group of people by prior agreement.
