A coach from Gubkinsky became the winner of the national swimming championship, the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported on April 9.
“Roman Bolshedvorsky swam the 100-meter freestyle and took the first step of the podium. The athlete also fulfilled the standard of “Master of Sports of Russia” in the “Masters” category. Roman is a coach and teacher at the Arktika sports school,” the department said.
The XXXII Russian Open Swimming Championship in the Masters category was held from April 2 to 7 in Obninsk.
