January 14 A traditional Christmas chess tournament was held in Melitopol.
The event took place on the basis of MBUDO “Children and Youth Sports School No. 1”, where players from Melitopol and Akimovka met, having from II sports category to FIDE master.
The main prize-winner of the tournament was Alexander Ozerov, second place went to Igor Perelygin, and third place to Milko Kirill.
The winners in the nominations were:
Best junior – Irinarkhov Denis,
Best junior – Polina Puzanova,
The best veteran – Vasily Kvashnevsky,
The best nonresident chess player is Ablyamitov Ernes.
The winners were awarded medals and certificates.
