A cardiologist explains the dangers of sugar abuse

Excessive sugar consumption is fraught with sealing of blood vessels, cardiologist Anna Korenevich reported on her YouTube channel.
She noted that the opinion that fatty foods contribute to this disease (atherosclerosis) is erroneous.
The doctor recommended eating as little food with a high glycemic index, white flour products, sweets and quick cereals as possible.
“Every candy is harmful to the body. And it’s not just about excess weight, but also about atherosclerosis and problems with blood vessels,” she said.
Korenevich also pointed out that excessive consumption of sweets negatively affects appearance, provokes the appearance of wrinkles, sagging skin, and sagging facial contours.
She also noted that those people who lead a sedentary lifestyle and have bad habits are especially at risk of atherosclerosis.
