Volunteer of the Amur search and rescue team Olga Veretelnik told the touching details of the rescue of a boy in the Amur region, who disappeared on Tuesday afternoon in the taiga when he went hunting with his father in the Arkharinsky district, and was found only a day later.
“A dog came to him and saved his life!” the volunteer said.
According to her, the dog guarded apiaries, equipped in the depths of the taiga. She smelled the boy, came to him, lay next to him, warmed him until they found him.
At the same time, 700 meters from the place where the boy took refuge, they found a den where there was a she-bear with cubs. Rescuers say that during this period the she-bear is very aggressive, but the wild animal, smelling the dog, did not go to the child.
