The boxing championship among juniors born in 2006-2007 and among girls born in 2008-2009 and 2010-2011 took place in Yakutsk with the support of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life.” This event was held within the framework of the national project “Demography”, which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports the press service of the head and government of the region.
30 athletes took part in the competition, and Semyon Rumyantsev, a judge of the All-Russian and international categories, was appointed the chief judge.
“Our mission is to improve the quality of life through physical activity and mass sports, as well as to create a culture of active lifestyle,” say the words of the chief judge.
Thus, based on the results of the competition, the winners in their categories were: Anyuta Morkan from the Kobyai district (13-14 years old, 44 kilograms), Akulina Khalgaeva from the Suntarsky district (15-16 years old, 48 kilograms) and Alexandra Sleptsova from the Megino-Kangalassky district ( 17-18 years old, 48 kilograms).
In addition, Oksana Vasilyeva was recognized as the best coach at the end of the tournament.
It is also worth noting that the winners were awarded cash certificates in the amount of five thousand rubles from the Yakutia Boxing Federation.
