Since the end of 2017, we began to work and several books were published so that the memory of the great and not only great boxers would live with us. The Boxing Federation helps, we have a very famous philanthropist, wrestler Lev Bardamov. He built a three-story museum building on Protochnaya Street. And there, on the facade of the building, there will be busts of famous athletes. We agreed with him, we will cast bronze busts of Safronov and Barannikov and, on top, bas-reliefs of their coaches Rinchinov and Nikolaev, – shared Valery Dorzhiev, President of the Boxing Federation of Buryatia.

At the presentation of the book, the authors and the sports community once again came up with a proposal to name the Physical Culture and Sports Complex in Ulan-Ude after the famous Olympians Vladimir Safronov and Wellington Barannikov.
