“I heard that in the Chelyabinsk sports school for adaptive sports, the guys do not run a marathon. On the contrary, I would like to overcome long distances, since short ones are more difficult for me, ”said the athlete.
Interest in running appeared three years ago, when the girl took part in the Marathon in the Dark project and was imbued with physical activity.
“I didn’t think it would interest me. Slowly I started to run, then I began to notice the result. I wanted something more, and decided to go to the coach, ”said Victoria.
A girl from an early age is blind in one eye, and the other sees poorly. Therefore, at competitions, she is equated with the blind. However, the athlete admitted that she was not at all afraid to compete at distances with ordinary athletes.
In Chelyabinsk, Victoria is looking for a volunteer leader who will help her get used to long distances.
