In the northern districts of St. Petersburg in the evening of today, April 12, there was a blackout – residents on social networks complained en masse about the power outage. It was reported, in particular, that there was no light in the houses from Butlerov Street to the west and from Nepokorennykh Avenue (in the area of the Piskarevsky Memorial Cemetery) to Nauki Avenue.
The Rosseti Lenenergo company confirmed the problem to Kommersant-SPb, clarifying that emergency crews went to the site immediately after receiving a signal about a power failure. About 40 minutes later, power was restored.
“The equipment is included in the work. From 21:58, all consumers receive electricity in full,” the energy company assured.
The cause of the incident at Rosseti Lenenergo was called a technological violation.
