Vilfand predicted heat up to plus 40 degrees in a number of Russian regions

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand predicted hot weather in a number of regions of the Urals, in the south of western Siberia and in the Volga region.

In the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions, the temperature is 7-9 degrees above the climatic norm. “From 9 to 11 July in these regions will be up to plus 36 – plus 40”, the meteorologist predicted.

The high temperature will be established in the south of Western Siberia – plus 36-37. In the Novosibirsk region, the heat is up to plus 35.

From July 9 to 11 it will be very hot in the Saratov and Orenburg regions – the air temperature will rise to plus 40 degrees.
